The Brown’s Susa Valley joined the official list of typical Italian products with the certification PGI (protected geographical indication) that was issued on 14 November 2010.
Being a product of PGI certification requires that at least one phase of the production process should be carried out in the Piedmont region.
The Brown’s Susa Valley PGI is the fruit obtained from five local ecotypes marked with the name of the municipality of origin (Brown St. Giorio Susa, Brown di Meana Susa, Brown of St. Anthony of Susa, Brown and Brown Bruzolo Villar Focchiardo).
The Brown’s Susa Valley PGI is a product always very appezzato domestic and foreign markets for its typical features; color and crunchy flesh, sweet and fragrant, medium-large size.
